Having a valve close when water is detected on a Splash Sensor is useful when you want to automatically prevent water damages.
To attach a valve, a Base device with a configured valve must be owned by or shared with your user account in FlowReporter.
- If you have many devices, search for the valve name – this will be the same as the Base name which the owner named on registration.
- Select the valve.
- Click “Select”.
To remove the valve, on the same page, simply click “Remove valve”:
