Understanding Alerts and Response

Modified on Mon, 18 Mar at 8:14 AM

We have 6 different alert levels:

  • Normal: Leak cable is dry. No water was detected.
  • Leak cable fault: Leak cable is not connected properly or is otherwise damaged.
  • Minor Leak: An alert will be sent via email/SMS.
  • Minor Leak Worsening
  • Major Leak: An alert will be sent via email/SMS and close the valve along with the alarm.
  • Major Leak Worsening

You can archive the alerts using “Archive alerts” and will be moved to the archived alert list.

Stopping the Alarm

The device is equipped with a Major Leak Alert feature that triggers an alarm and closes the connected valve in the event of a major leak.  The alarm can be stopped by drying the device properly and after 30 seconds, the alarm will automatically stop. Alternatively, the device can be reset or the valve can be opened to stop the alarm. It is important to ensure that the device is completely dried before attempting to reset or open the valve.

If the device is giving false alerts after a water leak or for any other reason, it is possible to configure the device again. However, it is essential to make sure that the device is completely dried before initiating the configuration process to avoid any further false alerts and receive alerts correctly.
